Hi guys,
Forever...I've never really given much consideration to wipers. In general, I don't like the look of plastic aftermarket ones...and I always thought the vintage aftermarkets with the air foil built in were kinda cool. But, other than than, I've always just put vintage OE arms on when restoring cars. However, when putting 02605 together, the wipers that came in the boxes-o-crap I got with her were not your ordinary looking wipers. I'll go so far as to say they were the sexiest wipers I've run across. Unfortunately I didn't think to snap better pictures of them at the time, so have had to zoom into some other pics I have.

The unique aspect is that the top bow is actually two curved/bowed rods in retention clips. They look very unique and for a lack of better words...to me they are quite.. "sexy".

The question at hand.... Does anyone know anything about these, seen them before etc etc. I'd like to get some more for my car (04042). Hopefully I'm just unaware of them and their availability..hopefully ;-)

Thanks in advance... Rob

The twin-wire wiper blades were made by Carello.

OEM on many (all?) early Panteras.

Were sold as Ford service parts with Ford part number and in Ford GT40 blue/white boxes.

Very rare now, in both USA and Europe. Period OEM correct for many Ferrari and other Italian marques of that era, and thus fetching very high prices when made available.

If you can find an NOS set of the wiper blades for $100, you've found a bargain.

ttam,by any chance, can you find any part number on them? Also, would you mind taking a careful measurement of the length. I believe based on discussed I've had that they are 380mm (15"), but since you have a set in hand...confirmation would be great. Thanks so much
sorry but there are no part numbers on the wipers . Yes they are 15"

Hopefully if you are running at 140-up road speeds, you are not needing your wipers.....

Nope. Mine hasn't been driven in the rain a single time in the 29 years I've had it. Cool

Now watch me get caught in a monsoon next time I'm out!! LOL
Hi guys,
Ok..so here's my latest knowledge level on the topic;
- reoriginals (referenced above): spoke with them a few times, nothing tangible resulted for 380mm.
- have identified a few on ebay, here...there. Be careful, I have seen a couple incorrectly advertised as for Pantera, but upon further detailed communications, they proved to be incorrect length.
- There were quite a few other applications that used the 408mm. However, they while they will work, they are not correct, and will hit the windshield trim.
- the "Trico" seem easier to come across than the holy grail "Carello Licenza Trico" which ttam shared the photo of above (thanks ttam).

Happy hunting.... Wink
