ago today was #4744's warranty "in service date" from Jefferson Lincoln-Mercury in Concord, Ca.
That would fill in it's Marti Reports "sold" line, and possibly that it was at the dealership for only a month after being released on 6-20-73. The original owner returned it after the typical 2 year lease, and ironically it spent only another month there before owner #2 purchased it (complete with added black paint scheme) in August 1975.
I purchased it ($10,500) in August 1976, meaning that I have 3 more years before i have had it for 50 years, and I definitely think that it's a keeper!
