I purchased Pantera (5972) that was totally dissambled and painted. Now I'm trying to assemble the car but having difficulty since I didn't take it appart.

Currently I'm trying to install the coolant tubes/hoses. I'm a visual person so I'm looking for some restoration pics that show the coolant pipe installs ...

During my research I've found a little guidance but pics would be great!

Thanks

While this is about the connecting hoses, it might be of some assistance!

Good luck

PS>  The other thing I might suggest is putting some stainless steel (exhaust) bungs in the coolant tubes, I put mine about a foot in front of the engine bay.  This allows you to completely drain the coolant from the tubes the next time you have to go in there.

Here's some info, and a photo...

Haydude,

I have the SS pipes but I need to know where each pipe is installed and their correct orientation. Thanks

Rocky,

Couldn't get your link yo work. I like the Bungs you mentioned.

Steve,

I will add the drains you mwntioned(good idea)

Thanks to all for your comments. My goal is to get this Beast on the road this year

The long tubes install under the center of the car (duh) and I think the two matching pipes with 90 degree bends on one end and 30 degree bends at the other end install on the Radiator bungs(I think) The long 90 degree pipe with the flange install on the Thermostat but not sure where the long pipe with 4 bends is installed? Also not sure about the 2 smaller pipes???

Hi Bill -

My first link, the “Pantera Place” website is an older one, and it doesn’t have the latest security…. So some browsers will give you a fight if you want to try to go there. But there is a lot of great information collected there.

My second link you could probably find by searching this forI’m for “cooling system drains”….

Steve, those adapters look pretty cool, and the price is right!
