Anyone here have a newer Ron Davis radiator set up? I think one or both my fans are going out (blowing fuse and hearing high pitched noise at the fans). They said they don't have the same fans but would need to do a new fan and shroud assembly. Just wondeing what that looks like (here is mine, older model it seems). Some have suggested Spal fan replacement as a possibility too but not sure if it would be simple plug & play to match my current set up (one fan comes on later as it gets hotter to have both fans running).

From your photo, it appears you have a triple pass radiator which Dennis is no longer selling. as such one hose goes to the RH bottom and the other hose goes to the LH top.
therefore, it may be doubtful that newer fans could be a direct bolt in replacement
the fan sequencing is not dependent on the fans , just dependent on the wiring, which there is no need for you to change with fan replacement
You’re easiest solution may be to pull the radiator and fans to determine exactly what fans you have and then try to locate exact matches for replacement

Or it could be a single pass.
Just unbolt the bad fan and replace it with a similar SPAL fan. You might get lucky and find the SPAL fits the hole spacing in your shroud. Worst case take the shroud off and re-drill the holes. SPAL has an entire online catalog with drawings for the sizes and CFM specs. Not sure what Ron Davis used for fans but there are numerous sizes that would allow you to match their setup very closely. I would not touch the radiator or disconnect any of it unless the shroud is somehow not removable otherwise. Easiest way to work in there is to remove your hood. 4 bolts and you have all the access you need.
Thanks for the input. Yes best bet is to get a fan out and get some good measurements and go from there. Was just hoping someone had done a replacement already on a Ron Davis radiator, but a bit of a longshot. I was just about to go to BAT then the fan issue arose; may do BAT anyway and disclose the potential fan issue for the next owner if I don't want to deal with it. Doesn't seem like a big issue but for me its under a stacker so not like I can just reach in and fiddle.
You are going to sell it? Is this the red car or burgundy 200 car. best wishes on a good auction on BaT. Personally, I would fix it before BaT. Seems like that crowd could have a "bad day cause Mommy yelled at them" and taint your auction.
Yes the Dark Cranberry Group 4 car probably going first. I was thinking of the BAT whiners too, would probably sound like me. I'm finally experiencing some of my favorite movie quotes "a mans got to know his limitations" coupled with "I'm getting too old for this shit".
Well I know you have had your cars a long time. Best wishes on which ever direction you go in my friend.
