This side view picture has changed my total plans
for my build.

The car looks fantastic.
The carbon fiber rear deck seems a lot thinner from the side view...like the top of the quarter panel is raised or the roof line lowered. Does anybody have first hand knowledge of the deck lid or is this just my imagination? I have convinced myself its just an illusion. Who's CF decklid is this?
It looks original to me. They said on the show that the deck and hood were from PI Motorsports.
Ron
I couldn't make out where they said the deck and hood came from, thanks Ron
I also missed, when they got the new chin spoiler, didn't they say it would be available from whom ever they sent their mockup.

Blue Panteras are the fastest, something to do with the law of relativity
The carbon fiber pieces were identified as being sourced from PI motorsports

Anybody knows, if it is real 100% Carbon or just the last layer?
Kjeld
That blue looks great....

Look at the color of the inside of the lid. It does not appear to be carbon fiber all the way through.

Yes it looks like they have put a aluminium cover on the inside.

I'm really liking the resto/mod/competition look of this one, including that bitchin' blue.......
Everyone likes a blue job.
Sure, but I don't know if it's "bitchin" or not? Just grey.
1.8 Turbo, Quatro, 6 speed. Turbo dialed up to blow 27 psi.
I've been looking around but the Mini doesn't come close at 225hp nor does the Cayman.
I would say this TT is close to my 930 power wise but I can't do side by side any more. I should have kept the 930.

You can see the intercooler through the lower front grill if you look closely? The thing whines.
No one told me I had to have a pipe organ tuner, tune the thing?
I did check and it drops the intake temps right around 37 degrees over the stock set up. That's cold!
Admittedly engines always seem to have more power then they test at but I suspect this thing is in the 350 to 400 hp range. It's got a lot for a 1.8/4.
