Note: Contrary to what some think, a VW brake light switch (NAPA #SL147) is NOT a replacement for the OEM Pantera switch. The threads are different and the spade connectors are different. Do not buy one.

However, adapting an '82-up GM style mechanical brake light switch to the Pantera brake pedal is not difficult, saves considerable money and forever fixes the brake light switch problem.
