I arrived home from Monterey late last night. I shall post pics, but I need a few days because they require editing before I can post them.
In the mean time I thought I'd start this thread and ask that everyone posting pics about the Concorso PLEASE post them here, in this one thread so people don't have to hunt in several places for them.
The corral was relocated to the opposite end of the event this year, we were the second corral the general admission spectators saw as they were entering the event which provided great foot traffic through our corral. There were trees and shade, the weather was fantastic. Overall I think it was a very nice setting.
We had 36 pre-registered exhibitors this year which is about the same number as last year, but this year only 28 arrived; 8 no-shows is an unusually high number.
We were able to provide an orchid as a gift for each exhibitor this year thanks to my dear friend Dale Sweitzer and his son-in-law & daughter, Kees and Reagan. Kees is the worlds largest grower of orchids.
