I have ran my undercar lines with the intention of running a 1/4 vent line from the top of the radiator to the coolant tank in the rear. Before I do I would like to throw what I was thinking out there.

I was thinking of running 1/4 stainless the length of the vehicle the same routing holes as the brake and clutch lines.  I know Brake fluid gets much hotter than coolant so my though is to seperate the coolant line with split sections of hose (like the oe brake and clutch line were)

My questions are;  Do you foresee an issue with my routing plan? Is 1/4 large enough? How did you run this line?

Thanks in advance. Jerry

Pat, Thanks for your reply but,  I actually did a reverse image Screenshot_20230930-101044~2search of the diagrams I used and found the original post by Bell#3156 here. ( 3/8s tube it is! )

The post header is  "Swirl tank/ header tank"

I was using the wrong search words. 🤔

Sorry for lack of info. Just a little background,  I purchased #2636 (too many years ago😔)  barn find in non running condition so I have no knowledge of coolant system performance but it was a mess.

High desire is to maintain as original appearance as practical but do many of the TSBs and upgrades to make it less quirky and more reliable.
