I'm not surprised that a single pod is difficult to find. Bob Byers WAS the one with the molds for the dash and the demand for these is so low that he had to dig his out of storage to make me one and wait a week before he could ship it so the resin was cured enough to ship it.
That was about eight years ago. Maybe even ten? Time marches on.
The single pod in plastic is on the '74 US cars. The '75 and later cars are all Euro market cars and the production of those is very small by comparison. So ultimately the single pod is the "rare" one, in either plastic or fiberglass.
That is a part that would rarely be "serviced" for wear and tear?
I just don't see these come up for sale at all. Hall had them listed as available but considering that Byers was a former employee of Gary and his shop was "just down the road", I think Byers was just the source, on special order?

on Facebook. I’d also try Larry Stock and Mike Mayberry.
Thanks David. I am contact with Larry and Jan in Lithauen
And I could reach Steve at Wilkinson now and it looks promising as well. He is checking for a fibreglass
I've bought at least 5 or 6 L Model dashes from Kirk Evans.
He has consoles, door panels, arm rests, rear panels ,kick panels etc..
Ron
Thanks Ron.
Since this morning it seems that I will find it here in Europe with Jan from Lithuania.
However the three vent outlets on top of the single pod dash is an issue. Have not found those yet ...
Kirk is at which shop please?
Kirk Evans is the founder/owner of Amerisport:
The original round defrosted vents for the Pantera single pod had a DT logo on them.
Those were not available anywhere when I did my dash and I got mine from Wilkinson.
I believe that those were sourced from BMW but I don't know the model they came from?
If I remember correctly, Wilkinson recently updated his to the DT logo ones?
Now those are a PITA to connect to the duct hoses in the car and you really need to do them while the dash is out and not installed yet. So in my case, my non-DT logo ones are staying as is. The DT is like 10 or 12 point type anyway so it is small and not readily noticeable.
I don't think that EVERYTHING needs to monogrammed but I'm sure that some people even have DT tattoos?
Roland in Germany would have been the guy to get them from if you don't mind the price up charge he felt was necessary because of the Detomaso's being exotics? I am told he has retired so Wilkinson is likely the best source, if not the only one left?
Found it with Larry and with DT Logo ;-)
Roland retired but is building a GT5-S from scratch privately. Just finished lacquering. I am in contact with him
