I failed my TÜV because I didn`t have the original intake and carburetor. Anybody have similar experience in Germany? Or did I get a particularly strict examiner?
Thanks

E.I. hi
well guess you not talk TÜV, as they should not really care fo this features, if they do go for an other place.
I guess you tlak about the certificate of originallity to get the Oldtimer status? This is more tricky. You need to find a garage which has experience to handles this issue, do NOT go TÜV yourselve, they give you all kinds of BS as they DO NOT KNOW. Doing the same thing with my 1967 C2 Corvette.
Bosswrench TX fo info on the Aluminium intake on Boss, as I converted my Turbo Jet on a European GTS to Edelbrock, runing by the way a Holley 4160 List 1850-3 guess 600cfm only. Also not original I guess as it came with 4150 R47777 650 cfm to my insight.
