I wrote them an e-mail and asked them about importing it to the US and the asking price. Here's what I got back.
Many of you have been making enquiries about the purchase of the Farboud GTS in the USA.
Dear Jim, (works for both of us)
We are currently in negotiations with a leading US Company regarding the importation of the Farboud GTS, for a volume of 50 units per annum. Once this is settled, we aim to export the car to the US. The current UK waiting list is eight months and export models will need to add a further two months on to this schedule. Shipping times will need to be confirmed but allow an additional 4 weeks.
Once an importer has been agreed, we will confirm our export prices and specification. Please continue to check the Farboud Sports Cars website, as this is in the process of being updated to give fuller specifications and more pictures and information about the Company.
We will remain in contact with you via email and advise you of our progress.
However, we have opened a US Specification waiting list for the Farboud GTS, which will prioritise your order and speed up delivery once all the importation documents are in place. To go on this list, please contact the factory direct in the UK to place your order. We will require details of the model (GTS or GTS Turbo), colour and interior finish (leather or cloth upholstery) and a holding deposit of $10,000 via cheque or credit card.
