I don't know how accurate this information is, or who wrote it, but it seemed worthwhile to document it for posterity.

FerrariChat - List of DeTomaso Race Panteras

I also put the contents in a PDF format in the attachment.

It may be that this information has been floating around for a while, but I just came across it.

Maybe you will find your car listed here!

That is very interesting information indeed. I was unaware of so many cars with race history and it would also be interesting to know who is collecting and documenting the information. I really wish our cars in general were documented more thoroughly similar to what SAAC does on their registry books for Shelby's. I am not sure if it's possible this far along.

My guess is that this info hasn’t been updated since ~2005, and that it MAY HAVE come from Philipe O., but that may not be the case…

And someone might have added this (or some of it) to one of the registries (either ProvaMo, or the new POCA registry.

But it would be hard to verify if it’s all correct…  there is a lot of material here.

It’s also funny that it shows up on FerrariChat!

All 14 of the fully perforated GR-4/GT-4 serial numbers were published decades before Olszyk's great book, and we know where most of them are, scattered around the world. One belongs to 4-time POCA Prez Les Gray in So-Cal. There are supposed to be two Stradales (GR-4 perforated chassis street legal cars) one in Japan, the other in the Middle East, but no one has ever documented them.

The 25 factory built Gt-3 car serials are also known, as well as 11 more factory conversions done after the initial sale. There are two known to be on the West Coast. But the Gr-3 was also a home-assembly option so there are quite a few more Gr-3s than just ones the Modena factory worked on. And then there are the cars that only used some of the Gr-3 parts; 10" rear Campys  were one part.
