Frankfurt Auto Show

...Appears so. Why aren't I surprised. On July 12th, I had read they'd be there, has anyone seen a DeTomaso communique? So I have asked the writer of the article for an update for us all.

Last july 12th in your Detomaso Article you mentionned that Detomaso was exibiting at the Frankfurt Auto Show.
I have not seen or heard any one mention Detomaso at the show.

What gives?

Well, here we go again. The word is now that the 2012 Pantera will debut at the LA Auto Show, November 18-27, 2011. The LA website (http://laautoshow.com) just says to check back in November for a list of debuts & concepts.

According to WorldCarFans.com the new car will have a Pininfarina design, aluminum chassis, 550 hp V8, and target production of 2,000 units/year.

I found several sites also saying that the intro will be at LA by doing a "Los Angeles Auto Show De Tomaso Pantera" search.

I hope this latest rumor is true. I'm getting the feeling that the 2012 Pantera debut is gaining the status of Crop Circles and Bigfoot.

Sometimes I think 'classic' Pantera owners expect too much. Here the entire COUNTRY of Italy is teetering on the edge of default along with the rest of that region of Europe, and you're expecting a brand new luxury sportscar to be brought out on time by a not-well-financed new company. Sure- I'd like to see the much talked about nuova-Pantera debut; I'd also like one to magically show up in my driveway for a long-term test.....
Do as I did: the LA Auto Show has an 'advisory' tab you can click to automatically e-mail you when they have their list of presenters ready.

Score one for Bigfoot. I just got back from the LA Auto Show and the new Pantera is officially a no-show.

Some cool concepts from Jaguar, Maserati, even Kia! Most of them are far from being even remotely considered slender. Not like the original Pantera. They don't make 'em like they used to!

That sucks....... was hoping to see something too
