Over the weekend my curiosity turned to the shock length effect when the suspension is lowered.

So, I thought I would see if I could calculate the shock length versus ride height. Attached is a write-up I did. If anyone has any pertinent shock information, please let’s discuss. Also, if there is an error in my math, definitely let me know (I got distracted a lot)

I was able to get the body dimensions (red) from a frame drawing, but the a arm and spindle dimensions (blue) were a SWAG based on counting pixels of the photo of the suspension drawing

Given all the enthusiasm my front shock calculations received, I assumed the rear calculations would be appreciated similarly.
