Lower A arm washer alignment

Gerry, measuring really doesn't gain you much. The problem is really that the two o-rings (one on each end) must be compressed a bit to act as seals, and most humans just aren't strong enough to do that. In my experience, the washers MUST index into the short dowels provided but even when things are perfect, it often takes a giant c-clamp to force the assembly into the opening between the lower a-arm legs.

Thanks bosswrench, I am just wondering as I have a new washer kit and the inner ones seem to stick out further than the larger outer washers when lined up. Not sure if that makes sense,with regards to the larger outer washers not really being flush to one another when assembled.

I have only gathered info from various threads and have NOT actually seen the componenets. I drew up this illustration to help me visulize how it is assemble and where the clearances should be. this is no way to any scale.

Item 17 is eliminated for some aftermarket center spacers. They simply make the center spacer (number 19) wider by the distance of the two 17 washers.
