Mr Iacocca went to work for Ford in the late Forties, after WWII.
The car in the picture was designed in the late twenties.
That is the designer standing in front of the car. Some folks are more familiar with the work of his son.

Mic,
You should get this one without actually looking at the photo.... Think about it!....
it looks like a Dino, but i'll have to say that since your other posting was a kit car, this car is a bit to short for my eyes and the window is a bit different so am guessing that it is a RW Karma mid 1990s'

Jan Tjaarda van Starkenberg
We can thank him for having good design pedigree and passing it on to his son.

Excellent spotting, Mic. Phil's cars are always the hardest. Not easy like that '56 Buick Centurion Concept car... Interestingly, that must have been the first car with a rear-view TV camera.
Still haven't figured out how Phil's clue would help anyone come up with RW Karma. Real-World Karma?
OK, I fell off the wagon.
Well done guys it is indeed a Karma (Pinched the idea from Mic's tagline)
BTW i'm Montecarlo296 because I used to own a couple of these: and the license plate on one of them contained 296
Interestingly, Lancia are considering a rehash of the Monte for 2010.

great deduction on the Buick Mark, you have quite an eye, let's change this to 'try n stomp Mark' LOL here's an other one to guess, this time from Europe:
You'll need to take some lessons from Phil then. You won't do it with a Cisitalia Nuvolari Spyder. Ironically, I used it as an example of leading edge design for it's time when doing a project in design school.
This one's for Phil.

Phil, that one is double butt-ugly!
Easy Peasy. Clan Crusader - probably a '73

I figured that would be easy for an Imp-lover like you!
Mark
I'm not an imp lover, but I do happen to be helping with one at the 'mo. It's a '69 Imp Sport with a 1.7 Alfa 33 engine up it. It almost does wheelies until it blows the end off the bug gearbox.
Anyway, i'm currently looking at buying one of these:

Nice little GTM Phil. If I was to go for something near that size I'd go for this:

there's about 3 or 4 cars whitch have not been identified so far, any hints to help?
Well, my post of a pointy car is related to your post of the snap-top one (which can easily be identified from my photo since I didn't wipe the emblems).
The beautiful little silver and green car starts with O.
Phil's white car is a GTM Coupé. I still can't figure out his black car, but I can tell from the photo that at least 3 were built, which must qualify it as a high-volume car in his book.
Why don't you answer some Mic?

The Green and Silver one is an Ogle Mini - probably one of the new reproductions.
The Black one is an 80's British kit. 30 odd built. Powered by a Ford 3 litre Essex engine. (There was talk of a 6.6 litre Transam powered version). Famed originally because a crash test sent one of these almost entirely through a Ford Escort - they're a bit rigid.

Phil
Well, you stumped me good Phil (and correct on the rare Ogle Mini). I've never even heard of a Henson M30. I wonder what inspired the grille emblem. To see how obscure this car is, try Googling it and see what you find—not much!

Phil's black car is an Eagle M30.
1986 saw Eagle take over the rights to manufacture the M30 from Hensen Automotive. This kit was retailing at the 2500 pounds + vat mark.

After hours of futile research Mark, I bow to your greathness...on second though...nawwww! still you stomped me with your pointy car. The cat got my tongue
Is that one of those Guanci something or others????
Monteverdi Hai 450 SS with a 426 Hemi..

Easy challenge, but still appriciated. Monteverdis are cool, and Hai is the Cooooolest ever.

great Johnny, I know that this model is a 1970 but i don't know if it is the GT or the GTS
DeDe, here's a 1979 Guanchi SJJ1, a mid engine transverse mounted GM 400 V8.
This link claims:"This car handles and feels better than a DeTomatso (check how they write DeTomaso) Pantera or a Ferrrari 308."

Mic, you need to e-mail me when you post so I can steal the thunder from Johnny Woods! Personally, I prefer the Monteverdi 375S (and so does Bob Lutz). My post was ALSO a Pontiac (but with a Chrysler name...). Go digging, my friend! (and feel free to bow to my greatness - ha ha ha)

Corvette Rondine by Tom Tjaarda at Pinifarina. I was the calling card that got him the Fiat 124 Spider job.
Correct Jani. Maybe with the Tjaarda link it wasn't as hard as I thought it would be.
