If you're thinking of a big glass window on the back-side to enjoy the great view, keep in mind that scene from Ferris Bueller's Day Off...
Yeah! Imagine watching Sloane Peterson (Mia Sara) swimming around in her underwear in that pool while a comatose Cameron watches... Yeah, keep that in mind.
Brad, I hate to admit it but I'm full of envy right about now! I've had similar plans for a few years and actually had it scheduled for the first of this year. But when the economy cut back last year and business slowed, I had to put it on the back burner. Looks great, and good luck on your project.
Yes, I am very excited about my “soon to be” new garage. Been planning it for some time now. Need to make more room for toys, maybe even a 2nd Pantera… Cobra or GT40 sounds good too
markcharltonOld enough to know better and still young enough not to care. My '71 Pantera
Brad, Given the climate, I'd say Cobra, then GT40 and THEN a second Pantera. The garage will be big enough and if you put some lifts in you won't even have to sell the Porch!
Brad, That reminds me of a true story that I have to share. My wife Wendy, used to be really into cycling. She rode 50-70 miles a day, either on her road bike or mountain biking. Anyway she used to do a ride across Iowa called Ragbrai (or spelled something like that), which she has done several different times. She had a husband and wife team that were good friends of hers, and rode with her often. This was their first time to do the ride across Iowa and they were really enjoying themselves after the first leg of the ride. They had these porta pottys there that were very nice and they called them Ky-Bo's. Well the wife had just ridden in after finishing and was very happy to be done and said she had to go to the bath room. Where could she find the bathroom? They pointed out the Ky-Bo and she said "Oh how nice, I have never used one of those portable bath rooms". So off she goes to do her business. Now I have not mentioned it yet but Anna is not the brightest bulb on the tree, if you get my drift. Out she comes, and is telling how nice these Ky-Bo's are, and how clean they are, and they even have a nice purse holder on the wall in there...... Her husband had a shocked look on his face, and while everyone was rolling on the ground laughing, he proceeded to tell her she had just placed her purse in the urinal! She just about died and turned and threw her purse away in the nearest trash can.
