Matching the paint of a red Mangusta

I have a red 1968 Mangusta that I might have some bodywork done and painted.

Where can I find information on the paint code so it matches or other suggestions on paint type or ceramic coating

50 year old paint codes are very difficult to accurately duplicate using current available products.

some owners have found pristine examples of original paint upon removing door panels. Others have removed body or door trim pieces to likewise reveal pristine OEM paint.

If you can find some original paint, any body shop worth dealing with will have a color gun to sample the original paint and create a match using modern currently available products
