Any suggestions from the group on purchasing a new horn for the Pantera? Type and source would be appreciated!

It looks like your car has been upgraded to air horns. Believe it or not, harbor freight has a totally acceptable airhorn compressor and two trumpets as part of their regular stock. Your current horn’s compressor is probably bad and you could probably just replace your bad one with the unit from Harbor freight

Good Idea!
Sounds like an easy fix? Hows the sound?
Thanks Larry

Yup. 👍
If you keep your old trumpets and just replace the compressor the sound should be exactly the same as what you are used to
Here is thread on the horns I put in my Pantera. They have that great "Euro" sound. Hella Horn Installation
I wanna say that a few years back, when I was dissecting and cleaning the air horn in my Goose, that a fellow member pointed out that you could get the exact same compressor and horns as Kragens! (Now O'Riellys AP). I think I then looked it up and easily found them online elsewhere.
My question to this thread....... Is there a cutoff as to when DeT stopped using the air horns in the Pantera? My 74 has VERY sad unsporty embarassing sounding horn....not air type..... I'm thinking that a train horn is minimum for today's knucklehead drivers! ...OK, perhaps a FIAM horn set from a Crown Vic or some similar Ford product.......they work! ..and are Italian?!
Cheers!
