You'll only be rich if you sell them....and then I would feel rather poor (and sad) if I were you. We should all just embrace the diversity of our many colored cars and not drive them around in lakes (which was the original topic so I've brought us back on course).
sgarrett,

staying on topic, huh?

Moderator Mark is going to like you! Wink

a while back someone wrote that white Panteras sold for less money than other colors, and asked for an explanation. My response was that they looked like refrigerators, and some people were taught as children that refrigerators were dangerous, hence a childhood phobia of things that look like appliances. It was meant in humor, and I think everyone understood it as such. So occaisionally when the subject of white Panteras comes up, I throw in this old "tease" for the guys on the PIBB, quite a few of them own white Panteras. We joke & tease each other and have a good time. It's all meant in fun. We are in "Alejandro's Neighborhood Bar" you see, kind of an anything goes forum. I hope everyone on the PIBB understands I truly have no prejudice against white Panteras, I think all Panteras are beautiful. I would support each owners decision to paint their pantera any color he or she thinks best, well except for Gary Hall, his pink & purple Panteras are little too much Roll Eyes . If you read other posts I've submitted recently you'll see I do support diversity amongst our community of Pantera owners.

Now as far as driving a Pantera around in a lake, I think Mark H (6808) meant he observed the white Pantera driving in the vicinity of Lake Havasu, not actually "in" it!

Seems nobody on the PIBB is owning up to driving around Lake Havasu last weekend.

Micheal,

You guys over there can't be that unlucky!
I can't believe that plane today that made that force landing!
Front wheel stuffed up....
How lucky were they to survive that, I can't believe the passengers were actually watching it happen on there inflight TV channel.

Downunder,

That is nuts! The passengers later said the mood on the plane would've been a lot calmer if they didn't see the live TV news broadcast of their dilema.

The landing gear came down, but the front wheels didn't rotate into position, they stayed perpendicular to the direction of the runway. I guess they're very lucky the the front landing gear strut didn't just fold underneath the plane under the immense stress. God was with them!

My wife has "PEARLS" now that you mentioned it!
Come to think of it we all have a kind of kindred spirit to those "white owners",
after all we do have some kind of fridge at home don't we...
