My rear view mirror (the mirror mounted inside the cabin) shakes like Katherine Hepburn's head in a helicopter.
Would switching to a windshield-mounted mirror help?

Wasn't it in Gumball rally that someone said "this is an italian car it don't need no stinkin' rear view mirror, I don't need to know what's behind me"

It's called character. Something each of our cars has. If I need to see what's behind me I merely grab the mirror for a moment, check to make sure that's not a highway patrol officer lurking back there, then forget about it.

My rear view mirror used to vibrate also. I was sure it was the mount. It was the harmonic balancer/damper. The original one finally spun on itself and along with the new Fluiddamper the old vibration left. Never "felt" anything was wrong with the engine.

Danny, just a get a hi rise intake so a) your motor will make a lot more power and b) you won't be able to see anything but air cleaner in your mirror so it won't matter if it vibrates.

Is that one of the air filters where the foam catches fire? Not good.
