Relay wiring - early, early '71 (pushbutton)

I'm starting to sort the wiring in my car #1267. Although the POCA wiring diagram's are a big help (especially the colered update Dave2811 recently did, thank for that)and most of it is similar to what i have in my car, i do stumble into some alternative original wiring.

Here's a shot of the relay box from #1267. My questions are:

1) Since I won't be running the A/C, can I simply remove the two relays for the A/C fan and evap. without it interfering with other electrical systems?
2) The relay (and wiring) on the top-left is not (I think) in any of the other diagrams that I've seen. Is that for the headlights ?? Anyone any idea?

Glad to help! I would say to #1, you could remove the relays and it would not affect other systems. Any shared power is commonly tied in at the connector level (two wires terminate at one spade), so just unplug the relay but don't snip any wires.
