Tried to find the link for renting the GT-350H, I saw a ad in Road& Track. But I could not locate the right page on hertz.com to see what the rates are for that beast!

I have rented this car a few times. The agent shows you around the car and makes a big deal about all the cool bolt-on stuff (which is sealed and you sign a waiver agreeing not to remove any of it).
It's a good sales pitch idea from Ford to a captive target. Anyhow, it's automatic, sounds really great and everyone stops to gawk at it. But it was disappointing - too soft suspension and nowhere near the performance of my '99 supercharged Cobra.

Some times ago I asked him, if the car is for sale. It isn't, it's only for rent and he is also not willing to submit the vin number.

I looked on the the De Tomaso registry.
There are only 2 black SI in Germany (registred).
It could be this one (#9625) for sale in 2007 in Germany the only one black/black...

Kjell Jansson is familiar with ZDT874000MA009625 and advises that it is a 1991, owned by Mr.Jorg Sandek of Berlin, Germany. Kjell has a copy of the "Fahrzeugbrif", which shows it was first registered in Stuttgart, Germany on November 27, 1991. The asking price has dropped in the last month from € 125.000 to € 98.500.
Interestingly, Mr. Sandek has about 300 or 400 exotics and race cars in an old military-hangar at a town called Blumberg near Berlin in the old East-Germany. Kjell saw the 90Si there in October of 2005 and reports that the car is in perfect mint condition. Mr Sandek also runs a successful race team: www.jenichen-motorsport.de
I am aware of only one other black German 90 Si Pantera #9603, belonging to Gerd Schied.
In short, I do not think the Sportcars4fun 90Si is #9625 or #9603. Rather, I think it is a third black German 90 Si and that is why I would love to find out its chassis number so I can add it to the registry.
So, if anybody is making any plans for a holiday to Germany, consider how much more fun it would be if you rented a 90 Si instead of whatever crappy subcompact your travel agent was suggesting... and don't forget to write down that chassis number!!

So what is the chance of being able to import an Si to Canada if it is over 15 yrs old?
My Pantera was imported into Canada from Dubai in 2003. It was built in 1988 and sold as a 1989 model year. I believe it was exempt from any Transport Canada regulations pertaining to crash safety or emissions.

Very Good. For now.
I hear that Transport Canada is trying to increase that to 25 years, but for now it's 15. Basically, ANY car that is older can be imported. It's provincial regulations that determine whether it can be licensed for the road, and I can't see a GT5Si failing that.

hey mark i see that your into gt40s web just as much as here can you find out who makes headers its a larger market in the gt40 kit car. wayne995@hotmail.com i have a pic i would like to copy
Wayne, the best guy near you is Ian Clarke at CAV Canada Motorsports in Burlington. But really, any good custom exhaust builder should be able to help because they will need to be built ON the car (engine in) to ensure all fits properly.
Tubing should be determined based on the engine specs so that you get proper flow.
One guy who really knows this stuff is Ron McCall, who has 180's on his Pantera AND his GT40...
In the GT40 community there are so many engine/transaxle variations that nobody makes them off the shelf. I am planning to have new ones made next year for my GT40 and I will probably go with Ian, or local (cheaper, but not as good). Hope that helps a bit.
