Replaced originals  with the cobra seats,a little high in the seat cushion, headroom was very limited, although they looked great. Now the recaros are in,definitely the right choice, plenty of headroom, recliner makes it very comfortable and the side bolsters should really hold me in place20240901_105527~220240902_134408~220241110_163951~220241110_163909~220241110_163859~2

These are the Expert line, the Cobras were mounted to the original seat tracks just using 1/8 " flat plate,so the adapter didn't add any height  to the seats, it was the seat pan on the Cobras that was too thick, although  they were flattening out with use, about 200 miles I put on them. For the recaros, I used their tracks and built a 1" riser adapter to fit the rails to. The big problem. With the Cobras are a fixed back angle that pushes the seat way forward, it was OK for me,but I'm short at 5'7", much taller would be a problem.

The seats fit very well, I did bias the right seat  towards the door to clearance the recline knob, which I also removed  to clear the e brake. Plenty of room on both sides of seats to acces seat belts. The height is good, about 2 in.from roof,  a little closer for me because I have the speaker bar above, they just clear with rests in lowest position.  And the door trim(thanks for noticing) is very  simple, just plastic trim for cars(see picture), very easy to install, just follow pattern in door, making sure to really clean the vinyl  with alcohol or I used lacquer thinner ,and make sure every thing is warm.Screenshot_20241112_185017_Chrome20241110_163846~2
