I’m try to track down suitable side mirrors for my car. I found this pic online and am wondering if anyone knows what mirrors these are?
Thanks

Hi Don, these are probably Vitaloni California. I have them on my Mangusta as well and they look stunning.
They are Vitaloni Californias and yes, the base is separate from the mirror itself. The base mounts to the car and the mirror pivots on a long threaded bolt inside the arm. Be careful when you drill and mount them as they are a very small view angle and if you position it wrong, you will see very little from them. The also make a convex version for the RH side. Pegasus racing sells them along with many other online shops. If you wish, you can sand down the exterior surface which has a texture to it and body color paint match them. That was a Gary Hall trick.
This is also what I have on mine and I confirm everything that has been said, the right rearview mirror is absolutely useless to me, just to look pretty.
I stuck a round bullet wide angle on my right side Vitaloni so now I can at least use it
Some time ago I purchased an NOS Vitaloni mirrors. There was a "wedge" for the base in the box. I assumed to give the passenger's side a better view out back.
Mine were mounted on the cowl (by a former owner) and offer a very bad view out back.
...These are my Favorite Mirrors for any Car. I think they look Great on the Panteras! I Mounted Mine in replacement of what was on the car when purchased. A cheap version of the 'Baby California'. I mounted these on the Same position as the Original, that was on the Door SILL. The passenger side was Useful as can be seen in the pictures. The Both Mirrors aimed perfectly, using the Rubber 'Inclines' (gaskets) that go under, to move the Aim Upwards.
In the Heat of the California Valley, the Passenger Mirror GLASS started loosing it's adhesive, slipping down. I took it off and replaced with a Convex Mirror, Useful to a Degree...But, gave me room to Mount the 'Blind-Spot Camera'. with-in the Housing, LOOK Very Close at the Photo! That Camera can be SWITCHED to show ON the 11" Monitor, That is at this point, showing the View taken from the Read Deck Camera. The Blind Spot camera, has caught Many CHP Cruisers Moving Onto the Freeway and beside My Position! Sneaky! It also shows Vehicles Following Too close, and stopped just behind.
Enjoy the Photos, taken on My Trip to the Mojave back in 2019.
...Yes! I Agree "What is Behind Me, is of NO Importance!"
Except, when it's a Flashing RED Light!! Or an Idiot coming up on You fast, going to cut-in on Me, with barely INCHES of Room, doing 95!
I have the California mirrors too, on the passenger mirror you can dremel the ball socket in the mirror which will provide additional angle for a better view.
