Speedometer question SPEEDHUT GPS

I have installed quite a few Speedhut gauges in Panteras. Yes I used the 4.5" gauges for the speedo and tach. I had my machinist make up aluminum/plastic adapters to make them fit in the stock( larger) hole. In my personal car I have a fiberglass L model dash so I could make the holes any size I wanted so no adapters were needed. I have used the GPS as well as the standard version. Both work great! I have also installed their GPS speedos in a GT40 and a Ferrari.

I have the Speed Hut instruments. I found them very nice to work with on the phone. Put the logo on the tach:



Was also able to use an adapter for the tach sender instead of GPS:



If you go GPS you will have a to find a spot for the GPS antenna with line of sight to the sky.

Thanks, any ideas on what kind of adaptor I could use to put a SPEEDHUT gps Speedo in here? I have the simulated burl wood inlay kit. Is the diameter of the SPEEDHUT Bezel less than 4.5 inches?

I am looking to use a GPS, I have gone through 3 speedo cables despite lubrication, verifying no kinks sharp curves etc.

You can open it up slightly with a barrel sander.

The sender I used above is electronic and uses wires, not a cable.
