...A 3 Lock Matched set, 'Brand-New' for $900. Worth every penny!!! When it's on Your 100 Points Show Pantera; or other. I saw one such set about a year ago, not in as good condition; I think it went for $300+. How many more sets do we think are out there?. It's the Rarity!!!...

Especially since you can order something similar from Steve Wilkinson or other vendors for a fraction of that.

Oh really?

Despite what his website may indicate, I am pretty darn sure Steve and all the rest no longer have these in stock.

Roland (Germany) indicates these were only made for the Pantera, that he bought all the leftovers from the manufacturer and they are basically now in the class of parts made from unobtainium.

New aluminum buckets are available - these it appears were made with the correct body curve unlike an earlier reproduction - but the other parts are not reproduced.

Marlin got it right - rarity!!!

I stand corrected. I guess you really have to contact the vendors and not go by what is shown on their website. Thanks for pointing that out.

It would seem that the cost of the parts are rising disproportionally to the car.

I suppose that there is some type of equation at play here but it would make sense to me that unless the value of the car keeps up with the cost of the parts there won't be driveable cars for long.
At $30,000 to $40,000 the car is marginally driveable because of the cost of parts or labor to repair it in case of an accident.
The cost of the parts currently would more closely resemble a car worth six figures.
