Team, well not so easy to cover all angles for a Motor rebuild. Pistons 4.020 bore) got sorted, Oil system modification/restrictors got sorted. Machine shop set up..
Aim to set up a good pulling street engine with max say 5800 rpm OCCASIONALLY for German Autobahn
However...
1)will go for new Trick Flow Heads 62 cc kind
2) Cam shaft will be Crane (as we discussed in the other thread) with Advertised (Theoretical) Valve Lift = 0.586”/0.609”

Rocker issue
I did NOT Realize that FULL ROLLER ROCKERS might need more Vale Cover clearance....Can anyone please help? See picture. Fall back would be Roller TIP only but worst case only..as I want to keep the Covers...

Matt,
I'm running those same valve covers on my stroker 351C with full roller rockers (stock 1.73 ratio). The only clearance issue is with the internal baffle at the oil fill and PCV breather holes. I'll see if I can find some pictures tonight of the modification I made to mine.
Before you cut the baffles out you can try just "massaging" them with a small ball peen hammer. I was able to make clearance this way. The other addition I had great luck with and recommend was changing to a cork steel laminated gasket. The Fel Pro 1636 gaskets are about twice as thick as a standard and are made of excellent quality. Once you glue them to the cover put some white lithium grease on the head side and you will be able to have the cover on and off without wrecking your gasket. This way you can bolt things down and listen for any clearance issues.
I completely removed the baffles from a set of identical covers, some decades ago with no ill effects. Not sure how much actual baffling they do, Mine screwed in. Once gone, full roller rockers AND a rocker stud girdle set fits under them just fine. The cover extensions that Julian listed may help some people and are simpler & more secure than glueing several gaskets together in stacks.
I don't recommend gluing layers of gaskets together either. Fel Pro 1636 gaskets are just a nice gasket made laminated by them not me. As for removing the baffles I have also done that and yes it does create more room, however I did find that once I did that I noticed more oil residue around my breathers and eventually on my valve covers. I am guessing better quality breather caps and rubber grommets would have helped prevent this.
