Is there a way to find out if my heads have hardened valve seats with out pulling the heads off the block?

I can't think of any.
Any of the open chamber 4V heads "should" have hardened seats. That's what I've always been told. However, I spent my life replacing open chamber heads with quench chamber heads & never had trouble with the seats in the quench chamber heads.
