Hi all. :-)

I've just recently exchange my alternator to a 100 amp alternator from PIM. Voltage has increased, but still feel it's to low, approx 12,8V-12,9V. So I'm thinking of also exchanging the Voltage regulator,it's probably been there forever.

Any good recommendations of what new Voltage regulator to go for?.

Thanks in advance.

Cheers
Chris

I just got a standard early mustang solid state (not mechanical) external voltage regulator. I don't know anything about this outfit, but this is my SS regulator.

Like the Silver One on the Right....

It plugs right into the existing harness, and it works great.

I have a Ford 1G alternator, but it has been rewound / upgraded. It was tested at 86 Amps.

My standard running voltage is >13.5 (more like 13.9 V).
