Bought me a project pantera 1972 early car, pre L #2469. Always wanted one, finally found a rust free project. Gonna be looking for parts and any info. I tried to register for the prova registery with no luck. Parts I'm looking for, the front bumpers with the squared edges, I have a set of the rounded corners, but like to find the right ones, I need a driver side quarter window grill 14 fins, rear window or a pattern made on poster board and rolled up and sent to me, i can have one made, deck lid shocks original if possible, steering wheel center pad, rear view interior mirror, and id like to know what the original exterior mirrors looked like, I see so many different ones, not sure what is correct or what I'd like to use. I know alot of this can be bought new and i will buy as i need it later, but i know alot of people update or change out some parts for others or a few parts might be laying around. I'm sure there will be more as I go thru the boxes of parts. Any help would be great, thanks

Welcome. 🙂
when it comes to outside mirrors, these cars were shipped to the USA without any mirrors installed or sitting inside on a seat. Many dealers installed the common ford rectangular mirror as used on mustangs. Many others have purchased the Colt Mirrors from Hall Pantera. As far as original, original is no Mirrors at all. 😉

I bought all the tooling for the steering pads and several pads. I need to look and make sure it was not part of the parts that were stolen but I do have stuff. Reach out. 972-998-3066
69 Cyclone, Welcome to the family, and to the forum! Where are you located? Would be great to connect with some local P-car owners.
As for steering wheels, I think the 13" LeCarra wheel is much more attractive than the original Capri Steering wheel/pad, and looks period correct too.
Others are fond of the Prototipo wheel. It's available with brushed spokes as well as black spokes.

And as already mentioned, reproduction 67 Mustang mirrors were what most dealers in the US slapped onto the Pantera when it arrived here, because they had a ton of those mirrors in the parts bins because that mirror was used on just about EVERY big Ford sold in the mid-late 60's.

These mirrors look great on the car (and period correct), especially with the stainless trim and chrome bumpers on the early cars.

Where is the best place to buy emergency flasher switch.
What's wrong with your emergency flasher? Maybe you can rebuild it.

It's the same switch as used in BMW 2002's, so if one of our vendors doesn't have any in stock, you should be able to find one with little difficulty.
Missing. Thanks for info
