Well I can just add two comments.

RBT lists NEW ring and pinions for $3,800 a set.

A year or so ago, maybe two, a group of 3.36 sets, I think about a dozen, came up in England. They were new left overs from the '60s Ford GT40 program and he wanted $500 a set.

First we'd have to know what the ratios are that you have, then I suppose you will get PM's from people with offers that essentially is a silent bid.

I don't know what people are willing to pay for them.

The question is, what are you willing to sell them for and again, what are the ratios and what is the condition? Are they new or used?

Are these sand blasted? Shouldn't they be blackened?
One set is 3.40:1. The other is a 4.625:1. RBT lists them as 3.44 and 4.63.
Just because they are listed doesn't mean he has them though.
They might need to be made for you.

It isn't like the old days when Ford paid for all of this for the race teams.

Keeping even one of each size is quite an expensive inventory for something that might never get sold.

You might have more interest in listing them over on the GT40 forum. www.gt40.com.

Those guys are more apt to build a special ratio transmission.
