Frame engine mounts

Can't see any part numbers, but there is a left and right frame mount for the engine mounts. The motor mount bolt hole is not centered which means the engine could sit forward or back a difference of 2" maybe. Does anyone know if the off center hole should be towards the front or rear.Thanks

The hole is closer to the front of the car. -Steve
