It was great to see the reactions of the locals. Camera were everywhere, people were posing with the cars and LOTS of interest was generated and many new friends made. And Sam, we're giving you a whole year to finish your car...
Our first Canadian event is over, But the future looks exciting!!!David you deserve a big round of applause, GREAT JOB!! Although it started with some rain going there, thanks to Carmelo and his rain dance the night before reassured us that the sun was on its way and not long after it did appear. A dozen Panteras joined together to share their passion and make new friends. It was wonderful seeing everyone admiring our cars and asking questions about them. A big thanks to our inhouse photographer Mark Charlton for taking so much time to document the event and make that great banner so the locals had an idea of what had hit their town. Last but not least, George Pence and all of the PI members, THANK YOU for the plaques and for your encouragement to all Pantera owners to go out and participate in such events that will help bring the Pantera to the forefront of all car enthusiasts. Thank you all Rob & Lena 6145

A big thank-you also goes to Rob & Lena (Mr & Mrs Modest) for making really great T-shirts with the event logo embroidered for everyone (and we got to choose sizes too!). I will post more photos as soon as I've had a chance to sort through the 100's of them. I'll probably post as a gallery so others can add. David got some great on-the-road shots as well. Seems years of leaning out his windows while driving has been perfected to an art!
The only sad note I know of (just got back a while ago) was Carmen had engine trouble on the return trip. The silver lining (?) in that is that I'm sure he was looking for an excuse to put something even MORE powerful than the 560HP engine he had.
I really enjoyed meeting all the guys (and wives) and can't wait for the next event.
hey i made it with no problems , (thank god) it was great meeting evey one thank you for the invite ,i hope to see every one soon. did carm get home ok? was the break down serious?
We had a great time in Kingston and would like to say a big thanks to David, Mark and Rob for all the organizing, gifts and great pictures (I preoccupied myself with the forecast on Saturday and forgot my camera at home!)
It was great meeting everyone, let's hope this becomes an annual event
