I don't recall your lead specifically Mark (thank you) but have followed up very one and either the color was wrong or the car had issues. So my search continues.
There's a black 1987 GT5-S for sale in Washington DC for $135K.
I think the challenge you have is in finding exactly what you want in a very select market, as there's probably no more than 20 black GT5-S's in the USA, some of which have been modified from stock. In fact a stock car might be the premium in price over condition.
