I in my great mechanical ability, broke my wiper motor park switch. In my search found a Jaguar supplier that carries and rebuilds motors. Hope Im not stepping on anybodies toes. But they had a brand new one in stock and it just arrived today. I am pleased that it is a exact match of ours.

Jeff,

Yes the motor was used in many a British car including the Jag, Mini and Landrover. I take it you just purchased the park switch and not a new motor?

For anyone contemplating a new motor, in each of the above applications the internal gearing mechanism can be different regarding degrees of sweep. They range from 95 to 125 and wouldn't you know it the Pantera uses the much less common 95 degree. They all look alike from the outside, so check that you are being supplied the correct sweep angle.

For anyone with a bad primary gear (the large plastic one) I have replacements for sale as I found and purchased a box of 12 a while back.
