17x9 Front Rims on Stock Body Pantera

I have 17" X 9" race wheels and tires on my pantera and they will fit however it depends on the tire section width. I would recommend just using an 8" wide rim that is what I use with street tires.

I kind of like the shortest tire I can find and prefer 235 look compared to the 245 at least on the 8" rim

I have 17X9 Corbra R wheels on the front (17X10.5 rear). The front has 245/40ZR17 BFG wheels.

Fenders needed to be rolled, I have a little rubbing on the inside of the fenders and took a little flatening of the windshield drain pipe. Otherwise fit.

6018 had 17 x 9 front wheels when I purhased it. 245/40ZR17 tires.

It now wears 18 x 9 front wheels. 25 mm off-set. 245/35ZR18 tires.

Thanks for the information. I did buy a set of Kinesis wheels in 17x9 and 17x11.5 with near new Yokohama AVS 245-40-17 and 315-35-17 tires. I might buy a set of Michelin Pilot Sports as a second set of tires because I was told that the 335-35-17 tire was not going to be produced any more. I wanted to go with the 18" rear wheel size, but I couldn't find the style wheel that I liked and the Kinesis wheel was always my favorite.

The photo is not the best because it was getting dark when I took it but, the Pantera now has Kinisis 17x9 fronts on 245-40-17 tires and 17x11.5 rears on 315-35-17 tires. The front fender lips will have to be rolled up, but the set up should work.

Thanks, I had no idea that the car looked that bad until I switched to the new wheels and tires. I am looking forward to the annual trip to Las Vegas in late April.
