Selling my beloved '71. Mechanically it is perfect; cosmetically needs work. New engine not even broken in yet (950 miles); redone ZF transaxle, with higher top gear and old fifth gear put in fourth place; new shocks, new suspension all around, new brakes, rotors, calipers, Fluidyne radiator.

Transaxle work, suspension, shocks, electronics, etc, all done by Don Byars at Full throttle Panteras in Lake Elsinore CA.
This is a totally solid car. Once engine is broken in (in another 50 miles!) I wouldn't hesitate to drive it across the country. I'm only getting rid of it because my circumstances have changed and I don't have a two-car garage any more. I live between LA, (where the traffic is dissuasive to driving a Pantera) and Cleveland (where the weather is dissuasive to driving a Pantera) and the car spends its time either in storage or in my parking garage. I've had this car for nine years, and I would love to have it forever. Was thrilled to get it out of the shop all fixed up only to find I don't have a good place to keep her.
