1972 L #4310

72 pantera L #4310 red, was originally blue car. good driver condition, runs great. paint shines nice, but various spots of cracking (needs strip & paint), but still very presentable, ....no major rust issues ( spot about size of a quarter in lower door jamb area ), frame rails and floor pans are solid. interior is in fair condition with perfect dash and lecarra steering wheel, faded carpet, tear in drivers seat, nice door panels and bulkhead cover, headliner has a sag....the following are NEW:...carbon fiber delta wing, carbon fiber side scoops, cam , lifters, double roller timing chain, edlebrock carb.,plugs, wires, chrome dipstick tube, mariah fans, battery ,electric fuel pump, ceramic coated big bore headers, big bore mufflers, weld wheels, (have original 7-8 campys),dunlop tires, trunk liner re-felted, auto meter white face oil pressure and temp gauges, high flow water pump, (car runs at 180 HWY and 195 in TRAFFIC). A/C intact but not working, ZF shifts fine, but if you shift REAL HARD into 2nd, you will get a slight grind, i hav'nt had the trans out so i dont know if its been safety wired, fresh gear oil. i purchased this car from a dealer here in n.y. 3 yrs ago . car was brought here from ca.....i purchased this car with the intent of doing a full restoration, but i was having toooo much fun DRIVING IT !!! the ONLY reason this car is for sale, is i purchased a gt-5 project car in need of a full restoration,(i prefer the wide bodied cars), and need the sale of this car to continue....car is located on long island. ....25K.........feel free to e-mail me with any questions or concerns at pantera72@optonline.net.........THANX FOR LOOKING..........DAVE

Is there anyone in the area that could inspect this car for me, or has anyone already gone to inspect this car? I'm interested in purchasing one and this seems pretty good. The transmission grind worries me though. Any thoughts?

thanks,
Alex

But I too prefer a widebodied car!

Widebodied owners get the better looking girls
