When PI Motorsports opened up in 1996, you could get a very nice car for around $25,000-30,000.00. We sold few cars in the 40K bracket. As an owner since 1974, once the market began to increase (I recall a period in the seventies when I saw Panteras for sale for around $7K), the market moved slowly upward. In recent years, I believe the average price moves around $1,000.00 per year. I believe that it will become harder to find really good cars in the $30K range. So many publications are covering the Pantera now and I believe the interest in the cars is increasing. Even though some published articles try to crunch down prices lower than they really are, I expect to see the cars move strongly into the 40K -50K area, probably in 2006, unless more natural disasters or the big real estate bubble finally bursts.
