1975 De Tomaso Pantera GTS "Prototipo Tony Mantas"

This showed up on the email list a couple of days ago. Suffice it to say there is so much wrong with this car, but the most absurd is the backwards mounting of the engine screen, further enhanced  with the cutting of the hole to access the coolant tank.

This car is a '75. Once Ford was gone forever from the Pantera Project, A. DeTomaso was free to offer literally anything that might be desired on his Euro Panteras- that could now be privately imported to the U.S.  I know of two '75s that had factory removable metal sunroofs, and special interiors & hot-rodded engines direct from the factory were available, as well as any of the GTS/Gr-3 parts.
