I am pleased to announce the PCNC website - http://www.panteraclubnorcal.com - is now updated with the 2006 Las Vegas Speed Trials information and registration forms (BIG thanks to Mark McWhinney).
Fun Rally dates are Wednesday May 3 through Sunday May 7. Track event is on Thursday and Friday, May 4 and 5, and is again at Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch in Pahrump, NV. Same 2.2 mile course as last year.
You can download the entire ten page announcement, which is the same as published in the POCA Newsletter that should soon be in your mailbox.
Once again you can register and then make payment using Paypal, or just do an online registration and mail in your payment. Either way, if you register before the February 1 deadline, you will avoid the increase in cost that occurs after that date.
Please note PCNC will NOT be doing at-track inspections this year. You must have your car inspected prior to arrival at the track. A listing of vendor and POCA chapter members approved to perform the inspection will soon be posted to the PCNC site, and included in the next POCA Newsletter.
If you are unable to get your car to one of those locations, you may have your own professional mechanic tech your car, provided that he first contacts Charlie Puckett and receives a briefing regarding the specific items to look for. His cell number is: (707) 481-6342.
The is the best and cheapest opportunity to give your Pantera some safe and fun track time. Three driving groups means there is a spot for your stock survivor, your suspension/engine upgraded car or the full-on track-ready performance Pantera. Instructors are available for first timers, and if your P car is up on jack stands, you can bring the Mustang, Malibu or even a Sirocco.
We want this year’s event to be the very best ever. Having YOU attend will help make it just that.
