All,
The auction for these three cars was very poorly written IMHO. In response to questions the owner responds that "he thinks" and "may" have all the missing parts..... and that he had purchased more spares.... BUT WHAT!!!?????
He seemed like he wanted to sell the cars, but wasn't TOO interested in doing so.....or he would have responded with lists of parts and work needed on each of the cars.
Supposedly there was a yellow car at this place when another person went to look at these cars a year or so ago. He claims that the orange car was not there. Who knows, the owner may have had other cars around.....
However, the word from the eye witness, was that these cars are rough. From the pictures and from the owner's own descriptions, you can tell that they are rough.
The guy did have another silver car that was restored and sold prior. I can only guess that it sported the best of all the 4 (5?) cars when it sold.....
At best, they are priced at high market value, just based on "his word". To fix and restore a rusty Goose as these are, would certainly run you another $10K-20K easily in not only parts/repair, but labor too, even if you did it all yourself....
I was tempted, but don't have the garage space or the time!
Too bad......
