500th De Tomaso now on QV500.com Registry

Hi Guys,

I've just added a batch of cars to the QV500.com De Tomaso Registry that takes the total number of vehicles listed beyond 500. The Registry was started in January 2006 and now caters for ALL De Tomaso automobiles including Vallelunga, Mangusta, every Pantera variant, Guara, Longchamp, Deauville, single seater race cars, sports racing cars and prototypes.

If you want a page created for your car, just send me an e-mail (bentyer@qv500.com). Updates are made every week or so. We never disclose current owners names and locations unless specifically asked to do so.

Finally, thanks to all of you that have contributed so far.

Thanks. Now we have categories for the 'pre-L' and L Pantera's, there should be no more of a delay in getting any cars listed regardless of mods.

Does200, if you want to e-mail me the VIN's for your cars plus any ther pertinent info, I promise I'll get them online for you within 24 hours using the great shots from your webpage.

My inbox gets filled with the best part of 100 (primarily junk) e-mails every day so the odd message can occasionally slip through the net. If anyone does send their car details to me and it's not online within a couple of weeks, feel free to drop me another line giving me the hurry up.

Great work Ben! I’m a big fan of your site and pleased that my Pantera is included. I really like the way you have the site set up and organized. The grouping by model type, the ability to scroll through the list of cars (with thumbnail image) and then drill down on the detail is excellent. It is without doubt the easiest to use and largest worldwide registery on the web. Thank you for all the effort that you are putting into the site. I hope more owners take time to send you their de Tomaso info.

That’s a really good point. Because of the way Ben has the site setup and open, all the search engines index the site. So if you Google, for example my car with “1887 1971 Pantera” Ben’s Worldwide de Tomaso registry pops up. A pretty neat contribution Ben is making for the de Tomaso community. Bravo Ben!

I agree. The fact that you can view the details of a particular car greatly enhances a people interested in DeTomaso's the ability to learn more and see the great variety of cars out there.

I can't tell you how many times I have tried to get my car into the other registry at Provoma with no success. I gave up trying.
