LOTS of rust! And where there's smoke, there's fire.
Not to say some of you on this board couldn't resurrect this car, but it will take extensive metal work. Not worth it if you have to pay to have this work done.

When you look at some of the high res photos you can see chunks of rusted metal fallen off as they photographed it!
Not sure where this guy gets his cars, but he sells a bunch of 70's exotics. He sold a Jensen Interceptor about 2 months ago out of the same boat storage area in McKinney, TX.

+1 maybe a flood car at the least it was in a very humid environment.

It looks to be in more or less the same shape as mine when I started. Maybe worse in some ways, better in others. I did not see any evidence of crash damage in the photos. I doubt it was submerged or flooded; the interior would be much worse if it were. It will need a complete going over, so the "original" paint is of no real benefit. My biggest concerns would be the ZF, the engine, and the structural parts of the underbody. Just IMO, I wouldn't offer anywhere near that money without a really good look at those items.
Send it to one of the metal wizards in Scandinavia. It will done by spring.
The original listing shows just how bad the condition of the vehicle is. Not the worst I've seen but I wouldn't buy it myself.

...you are right, the rust at the cowl is just barely detectable in the new post, the later picture around the windshield doesn't show it...And that area doesn't hold water (so is not going to be the worst--(beauty may be skin deep, but rust goes to the bone). The rust thru around the headlight cover was not isolated, and this is not communicated fairly in the new photos....Lee
