73 Owner's Manual dash layout

There are two possible Owners Manuals. What you have is the red cover manual for '73-74 Panteras with the single pod dash. The Blue cover Manual is for pre-L Panteras that have the two-pod dash. Unfortunately, you apparently own a transition car which has some or most L features but the pre-L dashboard. There is no specific Owners Manual for this rare machine, but most features on the pre-L dash apply to your '73.

My Dec. '72 build L (#4744) also has a two-pod dash, seemingly reflecting DeTomaso's overstocking of early dashes and their continued installations, or perhaps our cars were set aside during assembly for later completion, with later L components.

Yes I have "Red" owners manuals. My dash (and interior) were sort of butchered up and I was looking for a poster to help show what I want to do to clean things up. a illustration like this except for the two pod dash. given the degree of damage, a similair scan of the preL two pod (hopefully more detail than what I attached) would help me out

I have a very early '73 with the older dash. My car has the original red owners manual but it does show the older dash. The only difference is the car has two warning lights between speedo and tach instead of one.
