A/C Condenser Mouting?

Can someone please tell me how the A/C condenser/shroud assembly mounts the body of the car? I am trying to install mine for the first time and cannot figure out if the condenser core mounts on top of the 4 body sheet metal "ears" or sits underneath them, pressed against the vent in the back? Hoping on top, because it will be a tight fit if it has to slide underneath them. A photo would help a great deal. Thanks!
