Hi all...relative newby here. Bought a beautiful 74 "L" and am going through it as it hasn't been run in a long time. Put the battery in for the first time yesterday and as soon as I turned the key to the first position, the A/C fan in the rear started running. No fiddling ( A/C controls, etc. ) would stop it from running. Is this normal? Does it always run when the key is on?

No, the fan should not be running unless the A/C dial is switched on. Be sure the dial is turned all the way counter clock wise until you feel a click. If it still runs, probably a bad switch, or some hanky panky with the wiring.

yeah...tried the dial...it's all the way to the left...have to get into itSmiler) Thanks..
