Emery, I know my early car does not have that switch. I would read it with a ohm meter. If it is closed with no pressure than it should open when the pressure rises above 300 psi or maybe higher. You could wire it in series with the thermostat. So the compressor would cut off when the themostat froze or the pressure raised too much. It better be high enough because at 250 psi. I blows warm air. If it cuts out too soon you could just bypass the switch. I wanted a high switch on my system, I just could not find a switch that was rated high enough. The only thig that cuts my compressor is tha thermostat that sticks in the evaperator and it work great like that. Stay Cool in Maui. By the way.. how many Panteras are on the island? there?
