I read on the POCA email list that Jack Webb (Dragnet) had one.
And here is the final conclusion of that saga (after years of investigation) - "Just the Facts, Ma'am!"....

Ali had a black Mangusta, bought by Herb Grass.
It was not known that it was Ali's car as there probably was another owner in between Ali and Herb. Herb told me that he found out a few months later when he took the top if the IP off and found the business card of Alis agent. He called him and was told it was Ali's.
Herb painted it McClaren orange with light gray screens and wheels. It was gorgeous.
DICK RUZZIN

...I am the second owner of the '74L that once belonged to Keill Qvale. He was a Major importer into the USA, of the Mangusta..
As far as I Know, The sunroof and Wing were custom installed at the Factory Specially for Him.

The Pantera is the perfect Rock Star car, but I could see Charlie Sheen owning one. It's close because he parties like a rock star.
Sorry - that's a little joke that some members around here last year may find funny..... I did, anyway!
Or maybe not.

If he did, I hope Mike does a PPI on the plane he wants to buy, definitely . DON'T want to suck a valve at 10,000 ft!quote:Originally posted by PanteraDoug:quote:Originally posted by Rocky:

Did he sell his car?
The programme also featured a famous TV chef called James Martin who is nuts about cars. They did an earlier programme with him about restoring and rebuilding his Boss Mustang.
Sadly it didn't end well. Nobody told Jackie or Martin the car was fitted with a manual switch for the cooling fans and the car overheated in the Italian traffic. It totally cooked the motor. Engine was rebuilt and the car sold shortly after.
cheers

What serial # is your car? A late model GT5?
It was totaled after he sold it. Met a guy at a car show whose lawn the car ended up in after the wreck.

Craig bought his Pantera in 1972 when Grand Funk was starting to rebuild again. I restored it in the 90s and he still has it today. Here are some pics from the past.
First shot is from a Seger Cleveland show. Craig is next to my wife, Robin on the left.
Next shot is from a Chicago show. Right to left, Craig, my daughter Janelle, Alto Reed, and my daughters friend, Cristy.
Third--My daughter giving Craig some crap about being so old
Last---My 50th birthday party.
Bob Seger is back on his final tour this winter with Craig still at the keyboard.

If I'm not mistaken the DT club UK were asked could they supply a yellow LHD GTS, similar to the one Jackie Stewart had originally owned, by the Top Gear production team in 2014. It was for a Racing Legends TV programme and this is the car they supplied …..

Claude Schnell - former keyboard player for Ronnie James Dio's Heavy Metal band "DIO" still has his GT-5 (Conversion car)
Blackie Lawless - guitarist with Heavy Metal group "W.A.S.P." - I think he sold it
George Lynch - Guitarist of "LYNCH MOB" - no longer owns the car
Carmine Appice - Drummer : Vanilla Fudge, Rod Stewart and many more groups - no longer owns the car
Reportedly, Linda Carter drove a Pantera to and from work in so-Cal during the time she played Wonder Woman on TV. Don't know the s/n. Bet she looked good in it!

How about ME .. I was an extra in the movie "Dr. Goldfoot and the Bikini Machine" .. American International film starting Vincent Price as Dr. Goldfoot.
Celeb? Hey I wonder if Leno ever gets flashed? I don't.
King and queen of Sweden
I've never seen a Pantera with a roof rack before.
That´s the founder and former president of the De Tomaso club of Sweden in his Pantera. Probably the Pantera with higest milage in the world...
It has now been confirmed that Jack Webb, of Dragnet fame, owned one...
Who has Mickel Drew email address ? thank you
I am sure that Peter Revson owned a Pantera, but I wonder how many he actually did own. I was told by one Pantera owner is Arizona that his car was originally owned by Revson and also met a dealer that knew someone in San Diego that owned a Revson Pantera.
